I'm Sarah, Health Coach, Life Coach & Emotional & Binge Eating Specialist
I work with women who are capable and high-functioning in every area of their lives – except around food. Women who have spent years dieting, restricting, and trying to “be good”, only to find themselves stuck in a cycle of self sabotage, yo-yo dieting or even binge eating, that feels impossible to break.
My Background & Training
I’m a certified Health & Life Coach, having completed my training with the Health Coach Institute.
Wanting to deepen my understanding of emotional and binge eating and work in a way that genuinely helps women long term, I went on to train as a Emotional & Binge Eating Specialist. This means my work is informed by up-to-date, evidence-based approaches that address the root causes of binge eating, not just surface level habit change.
I don’t just understand my clients struggles from a professional perspective. For a long time, I was stuck in the same food and guilt cycle as the women I now help.
I used to start the day with good intentions, but by the afternoon, the cravings would hit, and I’d give in. Not because I was hungry, but because something in me said, “Sod it!”
Meal plans? I couldn’t stick to them for more than a day.
From the outside, it probably looked like I had it together. But I didn’t. I was struggling silently, using chocolate and sugar to cope with stress, pressure, and the feeling of never being enough.
I didn’t realise I was emotionally eating. I just thought I had no discipline or was addicted to sugar.
It wasn’t until I trained as a coach (and was diagnosed with ADHD just before turning 30) that it all made sense. The all or nothing approach. The impulsive eating. The shame.
Once I stopped fighting myself and started working with my brain, everything shifted.
That’s what I help other women do now. Not with another diet. But with real support that helps you finally stop emotional & binge eating for good and get back in control around food.
I don’t believe overeating and yo-yo dieting are a lack of willpower, discipline, or motivation. In my experience, it’s a predictable response to diet culture, pressure, stress, and trying to control food too tightly for too long. Most of the women I work with aren’t doing too little – they’re doing far too much, and it’s backfiring.
My approach is non judgemental, compassionate and supportive, but also practical. We focus on understanding your emotional eating / binging, getting to the root cause of your eating patterns, removing the things that are fuelling your unwanted eating behaviours and create a way of eating that works in real life, alongside work, children, relationships, and a busy mind. There are no rigid plans, no moral rules around food, and no expectation that you “let go and hope for the best”.
I know stepping away from dieting can feel frightening, especially if you’re worried about gaining weight or losing control. My work is about helping you make this shift in a way that feels safe, steady, and grounded, so you can eat enough to fuel your body, stop the binges, and stop thinking about food all the time.
I work 1:1 because this isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every woman comes with a different history, different pressures, and different fears around food and weight. Some women struggle with yo-yo dieting and gaining and losing the same weight for years and decades. Other women struggle with emotional and binge eating patterns. Whether you think of yourself as someone who struggles to lose weight or as a binge eater (or both). My role is to support you through this process with clarity, honesty, and zero judgement.
